Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic Dentistry is not just front teeth. Cosmetic dentistry is what dentistry has been striving toward since the profession began. It is dentistry that looks and functions like real teeth. This very nice young mom had old silver fillings when she was a child. When it was time to replace them, she wanted them to look natural. With today's dentistry, back teeth can look and function just like new.
Marie
Marie is an attractive, energetic and very funny young woman who had her front teeth repaired with "bonding" when she was younger. The bonding was wearing out, so when one of her close friends had a smile makeover done in our office, Marie wanted her teeth done, too. Marie laughs and smiles a lot, showing everyone her all new smile.
Elliot
Elliott is a bright young student from the UK, studying for a semester at Cal Berkeley. He has always been self conscious about his teeth and wanted to get that California smile to go with the rest of his good looks. We did 5 porcelain veneers on Elliott's upper front teeth to idealize the color and shape of his teeth. He is very popular around campus and the co-eds won't be able to resist him now with his all new smile.
Robin
Robin is a very nice 23 year old accounting student. She slipped on a wet floor in a restaurant and fell flat on her face, breaking her beautiful front teeth less than a week before her 24th birthday celebration. We were able to see her immediately and make her these temporaries on the same day--which should hold her over until her beautiful new porcelain veneers are made and delivered.
Bob
Bob is a successful executive and a fantastic endurance athlete. He was always afraid of the dentist and neglect took a severe toll on his teeth. With encouragement and the help of a safe, common sedative, we were able to rebuild Bob's mouth and give him an all new smile.
Clifford
Clifford is a very healthy, very active guy who runs and lifts weights. He is also a white water rafting enthusiast in the Spring and Summer. His strong bite and grinding habit caused many of his teeth to wear away and chip. In 2 visits we restored his front 10 teeth with new porcelain veneers. His front teeth are now as strong as he is and they match his rugged good looks.
Janice
Janice is a pretty, young professional who has never been happy with her crooked front teeth. She would rarely show her teeth when she smiled. She tried orthodontics recently but did not like it. Doing a very conservative case with porcelain veneers on only her 2 front teeth, we were able to give her a beautiful new smile, just in time to meet her what may turn out to be her future in-laws! (Photos were taken immediately post op so she is still numb and her gums are a bit red from removing the extra cement.)
Karen
Karen is a beautiful, intelligent, super-nice baby boomer, working hard for a well known biotech company. As part of a makeover for herself, she decided it was finally time to take care of her smile. We replaced all of her old restorations, including the old silver fillings and porcelain-metal caps. At the same time, we did porcelain veneers on her upper and lower front teeth to give her the straight, white, beautiful smile she's always wanted.
